1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Lappyrent LLP website and to enquiries or transactions arranged with us, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. By using the website or proceeding with a transaction, you agree to the terms applicable to that activity. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or proceed with the transaction.
2. Our services
Lappyrent LLP offers new and refurbished laptops and desktops, equipment rentals, buying and selling of used equipment, gaming and custom PCs, components, upgrades, repair and maintenance, and corporate or bulk IT services. The availability and scope of a service may vary by device, location, timing and the details agreed for a particular job.
3. Quotes, specifications and availability
Website descriptions are provided for general information. Stock, model, generation, configuration, cosmetic condition, included accessories, delivery options and prices can change. Please confirm the exact item and specification with us before paying or committing to a transaction.
A quotation or enquiry is not a confirmed order unless we expressly confirm acceptance and the applicable commercial details. Any quote validity, delivery estimate or service timeline will be as stated in the relevant communication.
4. Orders and payments
Before an order is finalised, we will communicate the agreed item or service, price, applicable taxes or charges, payment method and any relevant conditions. You are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery information and for reviewing the details before confirming.
Do not treat a website enquiry submission as proof that an order has been accepted, stock reserved, or a payment received. Keep your invoice, receipt, quotation and written confirmation for reference.
5. Equipment rentals
Rental arrangements are subject to the rental period, equipment details, charges, deposit (if any), delivery and collection arrangements, permitted use, and return condition agreed for the specific rental. These details should be confirmed in writing before equipment is handed over.
- The customer must take reasonable care of rented equipment and use it lawfully and for its intended purpose.
- The customer must not sell, pledge, sublet, lend, modify or relocate rented equipment outside the agreed use without our prior written consent.
- Report faults, loss, theft or damage promptly. Do not attempt unauthorised repairs.
- Return the equipment, accessories and any supplied items by the agreed date and in the agreed condition, allowing for reasonable wear from normal use.
- Extensions, early returns, overdue equipment, damage assessment and deposit settlement are handled according to the written rental agreement.
Specific rental terms supplied for a transaction take precedence over this general section to the extent of any inconsistency.
6. Ownership, software and permitted use
Unless and until a sale is completed, equipment supplied on rent remains the property of its owner. You must comply with applicable law and with any software licence terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the equipment and installed software is lawful and that you have permission to use any content or accounts you access.
7. Sales and product condition
Products may be new, used or refurbished. The specific condition, configuration, included accessories and any product-specific warranty or support terms should be confirmed in the quotation, invoice or other written transaction record. Refurbished or used equipment may show signs of prior use and may differ from a new product in appearance or battery performance.
Do not rely on generic brand, model-family or illustrative images as confirmation of the exact unit. Ask us to confirm the actual unit and specifications before purchase.
8. Repairs, upgrades and customer data
Diagnosis and repair work may depend on inspection and parts availability. We will communicate any material additional work or cost for approval where practicable. Estimates may change if inspection reveals further faults.
Please back up your data before handing over a device. Repair, operating-system installation, storage replacement, data transfer or recovery can involve risk of data loss. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, you are responsible for your backups, account credentials and licensing rights. Remove confidential files or sign out of personal accounts where practical before service.
9. Delivery, collection and inspection
Delivery and collection availability, charges and timeframes depend on the destination and the specific arrangement. Please inspect equipment at handover where possible and promptly tell us about any visible issue or missing accessory. Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly confirmed as such in writing.
10. Warranty and service limitations
Any warranty or after-sales support is limited to the terms expressly provided for the relevant product or service. Coverage may differ for new, refurbished, used and rented equipment. Ask us to confirm the applicable terms before completing the transaction.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
11. Acceptable use
You must not use our website to submit unlawful, misleading, abusive or malicious content, interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorised access, or infringe another person’s rights. We may restrict access or decline an enquiry where reasonably necessary to protect our business, customers or systems.
12. Website content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, website text, branding, layout and original materials are owned by or used with permission by Lappyrent LLP and may not be copied, republished or commercially reused without permission. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
13. Liability
We aim to keep website information useful and current, but do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free or fully up to date. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use or reliance on unconfirmed information. This section does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, nor does it override the express terms of a confirmed transaction.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be addressed through good-faith communication first, without limiting any rights available under applicable law or the jurisdiction of a competent forum.
15. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as our website, services or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page. The terms agreed for an already-confirmed transaction will continue to apply to that transaction unless changed by agreement or required by law.
